Ever since we've had her, Sadie has been afraid of the floor registers. To get in or out through the garage you must pass through a short hall that has one of those evil things. To take her outside, you had to open the door wide so she could make a mad dash past the register before it could attack her. Now she is used to the register and will walk through the hall, but only on the other side!
I had some fun with her tonight...

Thanks for a good laugh. That was so funny and she is adorable. Dogs are a delight and great entertainment. Once they get some quirky notion in their brain it is hard to train them differently.
It probably scares her because of its heavy breathing! She is an absolutely adorable dog, and yes, I think you're a little mean, but for a good cause (like a great video!).

OHHHH, that is sooo cute. I can really relate, Dispatch is afraid of his food bowl @ times. Mugsey was afraid of lamps moving, vacuums, paper bags popping, blankets being folded......
I am going to have to let Sasha comment on this one. Sadie is so beautiful and I love seeing her.

That was not a very nice thing to do!! Us dogs have our reasons for being scared of things. Sadie, if I were you I would find a shoe or a slipper and give it a good chew or go out and roll in the horsey poop like you do sometimes, that will teach her not to mess with you. Don't worry I have your back.

She is so cute. Our lab is scared of anything with a long handle. Brooms, vacumes, rakes, ladders, you name it. We can keep her trapped in the kitchen with a broom across the opening!

Don't worry Sasha. Mommy knows I have a sense of humor. And she's so good to me MOST of the time! She rubs my belly every time I ask, even when she's busy...
Even when she finally decides to eat she's still keeping a very close watch on that register. That was way too funny.

If my Lab is any indication of a Lab's appetite, then Sadie will eventually not allow a register monster stop her from her vittles. lol She'll brave the threat to get to her bowl.
Hubby loves to tease Luc by asking him if he wants to go outside. Luc comes to stand beside me until that threat goes away. I keep telling you know who to not do that but you know how men are at times.
BTW, Sadie is beautiful.
